It's Mission Christmas time again!
Once again, Lindab are supporting Mission Christmas!
Christmas is just around the corner, and for most of us it's a time for lots of food, lots of parties, and lots of presents! But for many families Christmas is a time they don't look forward to. They're worried about how they're going to put food on the table, let alone any presents under the tree. And that's why Mission Christmas is back and why Lindab are once again backing the Cash for Kids campaign!
Mission Christmas aims to ensure that children living in poverty in the UK will wake up to a gift from Santa this Christmas Day.
This Christmas, Lindab will be donating toys and gifts to a Cash for Kids depot near to each of our UK locations and we're inviting you to join the mission. All Lindab trade counters are official Mission Christmas drop-off points. If you are able to, please take a new and unwrapped gift to one of our ventilation branches and we will coordinate with Cash for Kids to ensure it reaches those in need.
What is Cash for Kids, Mission Christmas?
Cash for Kids are the official charity of Bauer Media. Bauer Media is an international media company who run market leading radio stations and magazines so you may have heard the adverts on the radio. Cash for Kids is a national charity with 23 regional hubs, all gifts donated through Lindab will reach children local to that branch.
Mission Christmas supports disadvantaged children from birth to 18, but they always struggle most with gifts for babies and teenagers (especially boys). All gifts should be new and unwrapped (for safety reasons). New and sealed selection boxes can also be donated but no other food.
If you want to help but don't know what to buy, visit the Mission Christmas website for ideas or if you would rather, you can donate money and let Cash for Kids spend it on gifts on your behalf.
Where to donate?
We are collecting at each of our Lindab ventilation sales branches which have trade counters open to trade and public. You can find your local branch by zooming into your local area on our branch map or browsing our branch list.
Alternatively, if you receive a product delivery from one of our Lindab delivery vans, you can ask our driver to take your gift back to the branch (excluding external couriers).
Please drop off gifts before 15th December so that we can ensure the lovely people at Mission Christmas have time to process and distribute to Santa.
We guarantee your support will mean that a child who's at risk of waking up to nothing on Christmas Day will have something to open.
Lindab branches will close for Christmas at 2pm on 21st December this year. Branches in England, Wales and Northern Ireland will reopen on 2nd January 2024, our branches in Scotland will reopen on 3rd January.
