Our sustainability work- For a better climate

For us, sustainability is a way of thinking and working. This affects how we work with Lindab's strategy in all areas. Everything from the purchases we make, to the deliveries and the service we offer our customers.

Lindab's sustainability plan

We have developed an overall sustainability plan with objectives and activities that govern how we work to implement the strategy.

In 2021, the plan will be further detailed. Local plans will be prepared for each part of Lindab. This in turn will lead to us being able to refine the overall plan and set even more detailed objectives.

We have a lot to do, but we are on our way.

UN's sustainable development goals

Lindab stands behind Agenda 2030, the UN's 17 global goals for a sustainable world. The products and solutions we develop and sell, and the way we work, mainly contribute to twelve of the goals. Read more in our sustainability plan to see which focus areas that contribute to which goals.

Sustainability targets

Lindab has five long-term, non-financial targets for the business. One that focuses on increasing our attractiveness as an employer, one for reducing our own carbon dioxide emissions, one for a better working environment, one to ensure more sustainable suppliers and one for environmentally friendly transportation.

Reducing waste and creating a circular economy

To minimise our impact on the environment we work to reduce waste, move towards recyclable materials and collaborate across the supply chain to increase circularity.
