Reliable air movement when it matters most
Fans are an integral part of a ventilation system, ensuring flow of air through a building. Experts at Lindab work with respected fan manufacturers to select the right fan for each project, optimising comfort, temperature, smell, noise levels, health, and performance according to the needs of the intended users of the building.
High temperature air movement units are specialist fans which work to provide effective ventilation during normal usage conditions however they are also designed to remove smoke, heat, and combustion gases during a fire situation.
Fire Safety
The purpose of smoke extract fans is to protect life and property by keeping escape routes clear of smoke and gasses providing extra time for building evacuation and emergency service response.
Lindab offer a range of smoke extract fans which can operate up to temperatures of 400 °C for 120 minutes in a fire emergency. They are available in multiple configurations to suit different mounting and installation requirements, and they are tested and certified to EN 12101-3:2015 with Applus fire safety certification.
